Filmmaker . Storyteller . Explorer

Coco Jackie is a documentary director with a special interest in creating intimate and personal character-led stories. With a rigorous education in film, including a Masters in Anthropology from Laval University in Canada and a Script Writing degree from IAD in Belgium, she creates unique connections with each of her contributors, often focussing on the overlooked and unseen within society.

Based in London, she operates a wide skillset, working as a scriptwriter and self-shooting director / producer, as well as a producers and directors assistant with credit including HETV for Netflix, Apple TV+ and BFI independent features.
